Floyd Romesberg, PhD, a professor of chemistry at Scripps Research, delivered an engaging TED talk in Vancouver in April 2018. Supporting the conference’s “The Age of Amazement” theme, Romesberg spoke on how he and his team are expanding the genetic alphabet to produce novel materials and even semi-synthetic life.
