Until recently, geography was a limiting factor in the design of health research trials. Now, digital technology is rapidly changing that status quo.

At the Scripps Research Digital Trials Center, scientists are collaborating with industry partners to transform how and where clinical research is done. By leveraging digital sensors that allow for continuous gathering of longitudinal data and mobile applications that enable researchers to recruit, monitor and communicate with participants remotely, the Digital Trials Center is leading a revolution in biomedical research that will shape healthcare for years to come.
