Artificial Intelligence

Our goal is to harness the transformative power of artificial intelligence to push the frontiers of biomedical research and medicine.

Overview

Artificial intelligence (AI) is on the cusp of transforming science and medicine in remarkable ways. Extraordinary advances are enabling us to elucidate mechanisms of disease, promote human health and accelerate drug discovery.

At the Scripps Research Translational Institute, we use AI to analyze digital, clinical and genomic data at scale, enabling earlier disease prediction, personalized treatment pathways and accelerated public health insights.

Wearable sensors can passively and continuously measure health throughout a person’s life. We design AI algorithms that transform this data into meaningful insights for individuals and their care teams.
