Registration is encouraged in advance for planning purposes, but tickets are not required for check-in.

Yes, complimentary parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to the Scripps Research Auditorium, located at 10332 John Jay Hopkins Drive.

Rideshare (Lyft, Uber) is a great option. Tell your rideshare driver to take you to 10464 N. Torrey Pines Rd., where there is a turnaround next to the tall, silver spire sculpture. Walk up toward Torrey Pines Road and follow the signs directing you through the under-road tunnel to the event. 

You can also use public transit to get to Scripps Research. The trolley’s blue line ends at the UCSD Central Campus Station, where you can either take the NCTD Breeze 101 line north or it is a roughly 30-minute walk to Scripps Research (use rideshare address above). The NCTD Breeze 101 line has stops at Scripps Research (northbound | southbound), and the MTS 985 line also stops near Scripps Research. 

While there may be components of the event that are inside, the majority of activities will be outside in the courtyard.

Yes, there will be food trucks with various food and beverage options for purchase.

Yes, our campus is stroller-friendly, and we will have a designated area to stow strollers while you enjoy the event.

Yes, we will have a mother’s room available. Just ask one of our staff members and they can direct you.

We will have activities suitable for curious minds of all ages. Most of the scientist-led activities will be best enjoyed by ages 8 and above, but we will have activities for little ones as well. All children under high school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
