About the Alumni Network
More than 8,000 Scripps Research alumni have gone on to pursue careers in every corner of the world, lifting the tide of discovery everywhere. Each remains connected, however, by their experience at this remarkable institute.
To strengthen that relationship, we have created the Scripps Research Alumni Network. It’s designed to help you reconnect with former colleagues or form new alliances with fellow alumni.
Who is considered a Scripps Research alum?
The Alumni Network encompasses all former graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and master’s students who trained at Scripps Research. Whether you completed a PhD, an MA or a postdoctoral fellowship here, you are a Scripps Research alum and a valued member of this community.
If you completed an internship or training experience at Scripps Research, we’d still love to hear from you. Please contact us.
What are the benefits of the Alumni Network?
Expand your Community: Build connections with fellow alumni through on-campus programs and at various events in key cities across the country and around the world.
Advance your Career: Interact with industry leaders from diverse fields to chart your career journey or to collaborate in ongoing scientific activities.
Engage with Trainees: Pay it forward by sharing your career experience with current graduate students and postdocs and boost the next generation toward success.
Stay Connected: Gain access to the latest scientific discoveries, drug developments and therapeutic breakthroughs happening at Scripps Research.
Make a Difference: Help propel scientific excellence at Scripps Research by making philanthropic commitments to priority areas.
So many projects and partnerships begin at the grassroots level, when you can talk face-to-face. Through the Alumni Network, you can build new connections, refresh old ones and leverage the opportunities that being an alumnus of Scripps Research provides.
