Endowing a Chair in Honor of Peter Vogt

You’re invited to join a collective effort to establish the Peter K. Vogt Endowed Chair at Scripps Research in honor of Peter K. Vogt, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. Over more than six decades, Peter has helped establish the molecular basis of cancer—work that has shaped how researchers think about the disease and how physicians treat it.

This chair will support a mid-career assistant or associate professor affiliated with the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology for a four-year term, after which it will rotate to another rising faculty leader. Strategic support at this pivotal career stage empowers promising scientists to reach tenure and accelerate the next generation of discovery.
