Geoff Graham Receives Professional Philanthropy Honor

Geoff Graham, philanthropy officer in The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) Philanthropy Department, was named Outstanding Development Professional by the San Diego chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFPSD). The honor recognizes effective, creative and ethical leadership in professional fundraising, as well as a commitment to voluntary service and financial support of nonprofit organizations.

Graham, who holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive distinction, develops and arranges planned and major gifts in support of TSRI. He and honorees in seven other categories will be spotlighted for their impact on the San Diego community during the AFPSD-hosted 2013 National Philanthropy Day Luncheon, November 7 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel.
