Career and Postdoctoral Services Office Mission
The Scripps Research Institute's mission is to create basic knowledge in the biosciences for its application in medicine, pursue fundamental scientific advances through interdisciplinary programs and collaborations, and educate and train researchers preparing to meet the scientific challenges of the future. Postdoctoral associates are vital to the institute's mission, as they generate new ideas and publish research results.
The mission of the Career and Postdoctoral Services Office is to prepare postdoctoral associates and graduate students for a range of professional endeavors, and to support their research training during their temporary appointments. To fulfil this mission, we provide career advising and professional development programs to the Scripps training community.
