Conferences, Lectures, and Events
In addition to regularly scheduled conferences, lectures, and symposia for biomedical researchers presented by The Scripps Research Institute in California and Florida, the Institute also provides regularly scheduled opportunities for the public to learn about breakthroughs in biomedical research, meet Scripps Research scientists, and enjoy the special ambience of the Institute’s campus.
Three kinds of events are open to the public. As noted, some are free, some are by invitation, and some require pre-registration:

In addition, Scripps Research scientists are available to make presentations to community groups, either on campus or elsewhere. This service is called Scripps Speaks.
Many of these events are open for corporate sponsorship.
