Volunteer Opportunities
International Services Office
American community: It is a fun and worthwhile way to spend your time!
We encourage dependents of international students and scholars to volunteer, as it has many benefits. Participants can learn about American culture and American societal interests and challenges. Additionally, it offers the opportunity to practice speaking English, meet other people with similar interests and make friends.
International spouses and teenage dependents can volunteer in organizations that generally recruit volunteers. They are not allowed to accept positions where they would normally be paid and instead would be performing professional services for free. If it is unclear, feel free to contact the ISO for help.
