Postdoctoral Fellow | Full Time

We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to dissect the role of neuromodulatory circuits in modulating learned behaviors in Drosophila. The project will involve in vivo imaging, optogenetic/thermogenetic stimulation of discrete neuronal circuits, as well as molecular/genetic and behavioral approaches in both normal animals and disease models. The anticipated start date will be as early as Spring 2017, though the position will remain open until filled.

Basic Qualifications:
A Ph.D. or M.D. is required, with appropriate experience in a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:
The chosen candidate will have a track record of productivity and research excellence, peer-reviewed publications, and relevant research interests. Highly motivated candidates from a variety of backgrounds and experience will be considered. Desirable experience could be in one or more of the following areas: imaging, electrophysiology, genetics, molecular/cell biology, or behavioral neuroscience.
