Local High School Students and Teachers Present Results of Summer Science Projects at The Scripps Research Institute

WHAT: 22 San Diego high school students, one local undergraduate and three San Diego County high school science teachers are completing an eight-week, hands-on laboratory experience in the Summer Research Internship Program at The Scripps Research Institute. They will present the results of their research projects as well as provide overall impressions of their summer experience, demonstrating the positive impact the program has had on their career plans and goals.

From I-5 Northbound:
Head west (left) off Genesee exit;
Turn north (right) on North Torrey Pines Rd.;
Turn left at Scripps ClinicS. Driveway;
Park in lower lot on the right.

MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES: Student and teacher presentations-some with highly visual elements; interviews (12:15-1:15pm or after 3:OOpm) with individual students and teachers from high schools throughout San Diego County.
