Camilo Rojas

Camilo Rojas earned his Undergraduate degrees from Palm Beach State College and Indian River Community College in Biotechnology/Biology. He joined Scripps in 2009 during an internship in The Department of Cancer Biology, before transitioning into Neuroscience and Joining The Rumbaugh Lab in 2010.

At Scripps he is often called "Super Tech" because he plays a supportive role in every project of the lab. His major contributions include managing extensive mouse colonies, behavior studies, IHC, Golgi, and brain clearing methods. He also has cloned several viral plasmids used to package viruses currently employed in ongoing projects.

Currently, his project involves the characterization and development of therapeutic targets for memory disorders in an array of different mouse models.
