Daniel Popkin Wins Travel Award
Daniel L Popkin, a Scripps Research Institute postdoctoral fellow, has received an invitation and $1,000 travel award from the Keystone Symposia to present his work, "Mapping the Chronic Viral Infection Resistome," at this month's meeting on the Cell Biology of Virus Entry, Replication, and Pathogenesis in Taos, New Mexico. Popkin works jointly in the laboratories of Michael Oldstone, a professor in the Department of Immunology and Microbial Science, and Bruce Beutler, chair of the Department of Genetics.
