Liebhaber, earning a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics. Before arriving at Scripps Research, she worked at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania as assistant director of summer programs, then moved to the City of Hope, where she was associate dean of student development.

Thoughts on Scripps Research: "It's an amazing campus with a stellar reputation. People have been friendly and helpful so far, and I am looking forward to working with everyone."

Extracurriculars: Skiing, travel, spending time with her husband, Girvan Calder.
