The Lesley lab wowed students with its equipment. The robotic crystallization system, called CrystalMation, is one of the largest systems of its kind in the world. The automatic and integrated system handles liquid dispensing, incubation, and imaging without any human intervention.

"We ship out 800 crystals each week for x-ray diffraction," says Senior Scientific Associate Dennis Carlton, "and nearly half of the samples are produced by this machine."
