Library Tip: SciFinder Scholar Update Deadline Is March 31
As of March 31, 2006, older versions of SciFinder Scholar will no longer be supported. This includes any versions prior to version 2004.2 and version 2006. To upgrade to the latest version of SciFinder Scholar, go to http://www.scripps.edu/library/software/scifinder/ or visit the Software Downloads section of the Kresge Library's web site. New Permanent Location for Onsite Clinics
On Monday, March 20, Wednesday, March 22, and Friday, March 24, personnel from Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group will be on-site to conduct TB screenings, Hepatitis B immunizations, serum draws, and tetanus immunizations.
The clinics will be conducted in the 3366 Building, in Room 325, on the third floor, from 11 AM to 2 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This will be the new permanent location for the on-site clinics.
No appointments are necessary. TB screening requires a 48 to 72 hour follow-up. Individuals receiving the TB screen on Monday will need to return on Wednesday, and individuals screened on Wednesday, will need to return on Friday. Initiation of the TB screening process will not be available on Friday, but Hepatitis B immunization, serum draws, and tetanus immunizations will be. Benefits Reminder: 2005 Healthcare and Dependent Care Spending Account Deadlines
If you participated in the Healthcare Spending Account (HCSA) during the 2005 plan year and still have a balance in your 2005 Healthcare Spending Account, please remember that March 31, 2006 is the deadline for incurring claims for the 2005 plan year. You have until June 30, 2006 to submit claims for reimbursement to Principal.
If you participated in the Dependent Care Spending Account (DCSA) during 2005 plan year, your deadline for submitting 2005 claims is March 31, 2006.
Principal claim forms are available on the Scripps Research Benefits web site, in the front lobby of Human Resources offices between 8 AM and 5 PM, or by contacting Benefits Administration, x4-8487 or email benefits@scripps.edu.
