Chiang Wins California Breast Cancer Research Award
Graduate student Kyle Chiang of the Cravatt lab has been awarded a two-year grant from the California Breast Cancer Research Program, which administers funding for breast cancer research from the State of California. Chiang's project is titled "Integrated Proteomic and Metabolic Analysis of Breast Cancer."


ScrippsAssists Wins Volunteer Heroes Award
ScrippsAssists, the Scripps Research employee volunteer organization, won the eighth Annual Volunteer Heroes Award from the Senior Community Centers, whose mission is to help meet the basic needs of high-risk seniors living in downtown San Diego. The award was presented to ScrippsAssists representatives at a luncheon at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel last month. The group Friends of Downtown shared the honor.
