On Friday, October 3, The Scripps Research Institute
(TSRI) held its annual Employee Recognition Banquet, honoring those
who have been with the institute for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years.
The elegant event, which included a cocktail hour and access to marine
exhibits, was held at the Stephen Birch Aquarium-Museum in La Jolla.
"This is the 12th year that we have held this event
at the Birch Aquarium," noted Judith Muñoz, vice president of
Human Resources, who emceed the event. "Each year we celebrate the year
that [some long-term employees] joined TSRI by recapturing the time
with music, events, and pictures... Congratulations and thank you for
your efforts, support, and dedication!"
