Joan Loomis of San Diego City Schools commended TSRI faculty and staff
after the event. "Kids notice when people are 'happy' at work; I overheard
one comment that "Gee, they're all so happy in what they do!," Loomis
said. "The treatment of students was so positive; it was so clear that
tour guides and speakers were enjoying the experience....[The TSRI]
science faculty and staff... are having a positive influence on these
impressionable minds."
