"Any form of research or creativity doesn't come out of the air,"
          says Rainey.
The initial inspiration for Breath came, he says, when he found
a copy of the biology survey "Cycles of Life" by Cecie Starr at a book
store and read the description on the back cover.

"It just hit home," he says. "It summed up a lot of my beliefs about
living. That was the starting point."
