Information
Employees and dependents covered under any of the medical plans are eligible for vision coverage administered by Medical Eye Services (MES). Participants and their dependents should go to a vision provider in the MES network for maximum vision benefits. To access the MES provider network, go to www.mesvision.com. By choosing a participating vision provider, an employee may receive an annual vision exam for a co-payment of $10 and,
- One pair of standard lenses every 12 months
- Frames every 24 months ($150 maximum benefit)
Or
- Contact lenses every 12 months ($150 maximum benefit). If contact lenses are medically necessary, they will be covered in full. (Prior authorization from MES is required).
Benefits are reduced when a non-participating vision provider is used.
