The average monthly rental runs anywhere from $800 - $1500 depending on the size and community. Apartments are typically rented unfurnished, however you will find a variety of furnished apartments also available usually at a higher monthly rate. Unless specified in the lease, water, garbage, electricity and other utilities are additional charges to your monthly rent.

There is a lot to consider as you begin your search for apartment. Here are a few specific questions you should keep in mind to help narrow your search:

  • How much can I spend?
  • How many bedrooms/bathrooms?
  • How far do I want to be from Scripps?
  • Are there child and/or pet restrictions and regulations?

There is an ongoing interest for roommates within the Scripps community. If this is a better option for you, please be sure to contact our Human Resources Department for a current list of those in search of a roommate.
