Geometric Primitives Editor Panel
This window is the GUI to the OpenGL "aux" library which is used by MSV for its internal geometric primitives.
- The first type-in allows to specify a name for the object. MSV always suggests the primitive's name as a default. Underscore will be prepended by MSV according to the number of ancestors of this object and a numeric extension may be added to make the name unique.
- The Parent object cannot be specified by typing a name but is the current object. To select another parent for the object to be created simply pick on it in the scene or select it in the object browser.
- The Shape pull-down menu allows to select among the following 11 geometric primitives: Sphere, Cube, Box, Torus, Cylinder, Icosahedron, Octahedron, Tetrahedron, Dodecahedron, Cone and Tea Pot. The size of these primitives is defined by the parameters. For a given primitive, the corresponding number of parameters boxes will active (pink background).
- By pushing the Accept button the object will be created, provided that all parameters have been specified.
