*UPDATE*

As of Jan 21, 2003, I am no longer a postdoc at TSRI. I am currently a research investigator at The Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF).

You can email me here.

From July 1999 to Jan 2003, I was a postdoc in the laboratories of Elizabeth D. Getzoff and John A. Tainer at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. In addition to working on the structures of several bacterial superoxide dismutase enzymes, I was also involved studying the link between mutations in human Cu/Zn superoxide dismutase and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease from both structural and biochemical standpoints.

I received a B.Sc (combined specialist in chemistry & biochemistry) and a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Toronto. My graduate research was carried out at the Hospital for Sick Children in the area of genetic disorders of copper metabolism.
