Office of Technology Development

The mission of the Office of Technology Development (OTD) is to expedite the transfer of discoveries and inventions made at The Scripps Research Institute for the public benefit. OTD promotes technology transfer, obtains legal protection of research results, defends and promotes academic freedom, ensures compliance with the U.S. government and other extramural sponsors, and assists the faculty and staff in understanding these policies and procedures.
