Obtaining a Visa for New TSRI Graduate Students
Step One
Once a candidate has applied and been accepted to the graduate program at TSRI, the graduate office will request that immigration documents be issued by the International Office. Students that will be entering the U.S. in F-1 status will be sent a form F-1 I-20; students entering in J-1 status will be sent a J-1 DS-2019 form. Documents are sent to the student by express mail (Federal Express). These forms are required to apply for either the F-1 or J-1 visa needed to enter the U.S.
