2. Inositol-Polyphosphate Signaling in Lymphocyte Development and Function

A major project in the lab is centered around our recent discovery that the soluble small molecule Inositol(1,3,4,5)tetrakisphosphate (IP4) is required for T cell development through essential functions in TCR signaling1,2. The elucidation of the precise molecular mechanism(s) by which IP4 mediates TCR signaling and governs T cell development is an exciting and highly stimulating focus of current research in our group.
