Emergency/Spill Response

If you are experiencing a LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCY immediately DIAL 77 from any campus phone.

For CARDIAC EMERGENCIES, life saving automated public access defibrillators (AED) are available throughout campus. Click here for the location of the nearest device.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANS contain both campus wide and building specific information that may be helpful in the event of a building wide emergency. Click here for the location of the site specific emergency response information.

If you are injured, but it is NOT life threatening, proceed to the MEDICAL CARE page for instructions.

If you have had a RELEASE OR SPILL of biohazardous, chemical, or radioactive material please dial 77 from any campus phone and inform the Security Officer that you need to have EH&S respond to your location. You should not be working with any material that you can not clean up yourself, however, if the spill is too large to handle yourself or if clean-up causes distress to your eyes, lungs, or skin please evacuate the immediate area and contact EH&S for assistance. Professional safety employees are available via cellular phone 24 hours a day for emergency response.
