Cardiac Emergency
In a cardiac emergency time is everything. The Automated Defibrillators
provided throughout campus can make the difference between life
and death. These AED's automatically monitor the patient's cardiac
rhythm and determine if the patient requires a defibrillation shock.
They can be found at the locations in the table below. Instructions
and voice prompts are provided to ensure that the devise is used
correctly.

NOTE: The closest devise may be in an adjacent
building. For example, the AED on the 4th floor of the Stein
Research building would be the closest for an emergency on the
4th floor of the Beckman building. |
