The Immunology Affinity Group focuses on the fundamental cellular and molecular mechanisms that underpin IMMUNE FUNCTION across the innate and adaptive immune system. We invite local, national and international experts to present their latest and most exciting findings.
Seminars organized across Fall, Winter and Spring define an integral component of the Scripps Research academic environment. Seminars are held on Thursdays at 12:00-1:00 pm, in The Committee Lecture Hall of the Molecular Biology Building of TSRI.
Each speaker spends the day and evening interacting with faculty, fellows, students and scientific staff in the Department of Immunology. These personal exchanges broaden and deepen our appreciation for the speaker's work and allow us to consider how their work intersects and complements our own efforts at TSRI.
Seminars are open to the public and the San Diego scientific community. Our colleagues from local institutions such as UCSD, LIAI, GNF, The Sanford|Burnham Institute, and the burgeoning biotechnology industry of San Diego are encouraged to attend.
