Molecular & Cellular Biology Affinity Group

WELCOME to the Scripps Research 2012-2013 Molecular and Cellular Biology Affinity Group (MCBAG) Seminar Series.

Seminars organized across Fall, Winter and Spring schedules define an integral component of the Scripps Research academic environment. Unless otherwise noted, all seminars are held on Thursdays, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the W.M. Keck Foundation Amphitheater, The Beckman Center for Chemical Sciences (Map to W.M. Keck Foundation Amphitheater).

Each speaker spends the day interacting with faculty, fellows, students, and scientific staff in the Department of Cell Biology. These more personal exchanges broaden and deepen our appreciation for the speaker's work and allow us to consider how their work intersects and complements our own efforts at Scripps Research. Seminars are open to all in the San Diego scientific community. Our colleagues from local Institutions such as UCSD, GNF, The Sanford-Burnham Institute, Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, and the burgeoning biotechnology industry of San Diego are encouraged to attend.
