Macintosh Eudora APOP Configuration

Setting up an APOP account consists of two steps - creating your account on your mail server and configuring your email client to use apop.

If you have not already created your APOP account on your mail server, do so now, by following the APOP Account Setup Instructions. When you are done, return to this page for instructions on configuring Eudora to check mail using APOP.

Configuring Eudora Please note: These Instructions assume that your Eudora is currently configured to use POP and that you need it configured to use APOP.

1) Launch Eudora

2) Open Settings

3) Scroll down to Checking Mail

4) Select APOP

5) Select OK

6) Check your email! Note: You must use the password you created with the popauth command.
