The following directions show you how to setup Eudora for your Scripps email account connecting to the Exchange server. These directions assume that this is the first time opening/using Eudora on the workstation (new installation).
1. Open Eudora by double-clicking on the program shortcut. If this is the first time running Eudora you should get the Welcome screen.
2. Click Next.
3. Select Create a brand new email account and click Next.
4. Key in your full name into the textbox and click Next.
5. Key in your Email Address into the textbox and click Next.
6. Key in your User Name into the text box and click Next.
7. Key in exchv1.lj.ad.scripps.edu into the Incoming Server textbox, check on Test Server and select IMAP. Click Next.
8. Leave the Location prefix blank and click Next.
9. Key in exchange into the Outgoing Server textbox, make sure that Test server and Allow authentication is checked on, and click Next.
10. Click Finish to complete the process.
11. In the Enter Password dialogue box, key in your password, check on Remember password for this personality and click OK.
