MS Outlook 2000/XP POP Configuration

Configuring Microsoft's Outlook

1) Launch Outlook.

2) Open Tools.

3) Scroll down to Accounts.

4) Select View or Change Existing Email Account then click Next.

5) Highlight your email account, and click Change.

6) Change Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) from its current setting to 'smtp.scripps.edu', then click Next.

(As a convenience for those cable modem users that need to use the name smtp-server for
outgoing mail when at home, this name may also be used when on campus)

7) Click Finish and you are all done.
