Setting up Exchange with Entourage

How to Setup MS Entourage (OS X) 2003 Email client to Connect to the TSRI Exchange Server

The following directions show you how to setup your Entourage email client with your Scripps email account (connect to the TSRI Exchange server).

1. Open Entourage. Go to Entourage > Account Settings to open the Accounts window.

2. Click New.

3. Enter in your Scripps Email address.
4. Check My account is on an Exchange server.

5. Enter in your username for User ID.
6. Enter in 'lj.ad.scripps.edu' for Domain.
7. Enter in your Password.
8. Click the right arrow on the bottom-right corner of the window.

9. Click the right arrow.

10. Verify your settings and click the right arrow.

11. Click Verify My Settings. If unsuccessful click the left arrow and check your settings. If successful click the right arrow to continue.

12. Type in a name for the account in the Account Name field.
13. Click Finish.

14. Close the Accounts window by clicking on the red circle on the top-left corner.

Part two: Setting up Global Address Book

1. With Entourage open, go to Account Settings by clicking on Entourage in the top menu and selecting Account Settings.
2. Double-click on your Exchange account to edit the account.
3. Click on the Advanced tab.
4. Uncheck the box for This server requires me to log on.
5. Check the box for Override default LDAP port.



6. Click OK to complete the process.

Now when you compose new mail and start typing in a partial email address a suggestion list will automatically pop up as you type. Note: Only scripps members who are on Exchange will show in this list.
