The Sathya Puthanveettil Laboratory at the Scripps Research Institute Florida

Support our Research

Your help matters!  Despite the recent advances in genomics medicine and pharmaceutical chemistry, we still do not have a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and fronto temporal dementia. This is an extraordinary problem affecting millions of people and requires immediate action.

Our laboratory is actively engaged in translating our basic science findings to develop novel therapeutics to treat Alzheimer’s disease and fronto temporal dementia. To better understand the mechanisms of these diseases we integrate several disciplines such as genomics, proteomics, electrophysiology and mouse behavior analysis in our research. We collaborate extensively with the Scripps Translational Research Institute and Medicinal Chemistry Division to pursue these goals.  Thus, we are uniquely positioned to make significant therapeutic discoveries.

Your support is crucial in helping the next generation of scientists that have the potential to come up with new and effective therapies to achieve our scientific and translational goals. If you would like to make a contribution, please contact us and we will direct you on how to donate. We will be happy to answer your questions or arrange a visit to our laboratory.
