Amy graduated in 2011 with a Ph.D. in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Guelph. She studied the involvement of estrogens and their receptors in social behaviour and social learning in mice, with Dr. Elena Choleris. Amy will initially be working on developing an autism-related behavioral test battery, and using it to begin phenotyping Pten haploinsufficient and Pten null mutant mice.

Youjun Chen

Youjun graduated in 2010 from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a PhD in Neuroscience. She studied the roles of APC and APC2 in the development of mouse nervous system in Dr William Snider’s lab. Youjun is investigating the effects of Pten on neuron growth and synaptogenesis using mouse genetic models.

Danielle Llaneza graduated from University at Albany- SUNY in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She entered the Behavioral Neuroscience program at UAlbany in 2008 and examined behavioral changes in response to endogenous and exogenous changes in steroid hormones. In particular, she focused on sex differences in social and affective behaviors relevant for autism spectrum disorders. Danielle will be focused on behavioral and neuroanatomical characterization of genetic models of ASD.

Trina Kemp joined Scripps in July 2009 as Administrative Assistant. She supports Dr. Ronald L. Davis, Professor and Chair and Dr. Damon Page, Assistant Professor in the Department. Trina’s background includes more than 15 years of professional support experience.
