Our Lab

Our research examines the pathogenesis of CNS diseases, focusing on neuroAIDS resulting from HIV infection. We study its effects in the brain, and the interactions that lead to disruption of function. Viral and host factors are both under investigtion for their contribution to disease, enabling means to interrupt disease-inducing mechanisms to prevent and treat neuroAIDS.
