Brooke Miller Wins Young Investigator Awards
Brooke Miller, research associate on The Scripps Research Institute's Florida campus, has won a Young Investigator Travel Award from the International Behavioural and Neural Genetics Society (IBANGS). Miller will travel to the 10th Annual Genes, Brain and Behavior Meeting in Portland, Oregon, May 5 to 9, to present her research on the genetic basis of depression.

Miller has also won a three-year postdoctoral grant from the National Institute of Mental Health of the National Institutes of Health to support related work on depressive behaviors. She was sponsored jointly for the grant by Scripps Florida principal investigators Paul Kenny and Mathew Pletcher.
