Jeffery Kelly Wins Vincent du Vigneaud Award
Jeffery W. Kelly, who is Lita Annenberg Hazen Professor of Chemistry, dean of Graduate and Postgraduate Studies, and member of the Skaggs Institute of Chemical Biology at The Scripps Research Institute, has won the American Pepitde Society's Vincent du Vigneaud Award.

Kelly was selected for the award, which is sponsored by Bachem, Inc., for "fundamental and visionary research on folding and aggregation processes in peptides and proteins, and for courageous and insightful exploration of the biological and medical implications of his discoveries."

The Vincent du Vigneaud Award for outstanding achievements in peptide research is presented at the Gordon Research Conference held in Ventura, California, every two years.
