Immunocytochemical labeling of a coronal section of the olfactory bulb shows high-level expression of RNA-binding motif protein 3 (RBM3). DAPI staining (blue) shows distribution of cell bodies in the mitral cell (Mi), external plexiform (EPl), and glomerular (Gl) layers. RBM3 (green) is present in somata within these layers and in neurites within the EPl and interior part of the glomeruli. Figure provided by Julie Pilotte, Ph.D., research associate in the laboratory of Peter W. Vanderklish, Ph.D., assistant professor.
