The Otomo group is interested in structural and functional basis of proteins that play essential roles in cell biology. We take a multidisciplinary approach to understand the mechanisms at molecular and cellular levels. We determine protein structures using X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy, and analyze functions using biochemical assays.
