Polyamide Localization

in the Nucleus of Cultured Cells

Flourescent DNA-binding polyamide-bodipy conjugate (green) staining the nucleus and chromosomes in cultured KYO1 cells.

Cells were incubated with 2 microM polyamide in culture medium for 16 hours prior to visualization by deconvolution microscopy.

Mitochondria are stained with MitoTraker (red) as a cytoplasmic marker.
