Scripps Research Orientation

Welcome to all new hires and visitors!

We run the Scripps Research Orientation every other week, on Wednesdays. The goal of the program is to make you aware of available resources, provide you with up-to-date information on compliance issues, and acquaint you with organizational policies.

All new hires, and visitors who are here for more than three weeks, receive compliance training from Employee Health and Safety, and Harassment and Discrimination Prevention training from the Human Resources Department. Information is provided about Scripps Research policies and procedures, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Information Technology (IT) Services. Academic new hires receive additional information from the Office of Technology Development, Career and Postdoctoral Services, the Society of Fellows, and the Network for Women in Science. The International Office provides important information for all foreign nationals.

Benefits Enrollment takes place every Tuesday, for those who are eligible.
