Harassment and Discrimination Prevention Program

Managers and Supervisors

Retraining Every Two Years

In 2004, the state of California passed a law requiring that all those responsible for directing or overseeing the work of others complete a minimum of two hours training on the prevention of sexual harassment, every two years.

New to Management or Supervision?

Newly hired supervisors, and those promoted to supervisory positions, are required to complete this training within six months of their date of hire or promotion date.

Non-Supervisors

We regularly train all non-supervising employees on Harassment and Discrimination Prevention to comply with Federal and EEOC guidelines. Supervisors will be notified when an employee is due for training. We make every effort to offer choices of training times to minimise the impact on your lab or office. Training is around an hour-and-a-half long.
