Effective April 1, 2008
Genotype Profiling
All material costs associated with the completion of experiments conducted by the Core will be incurred as a direct pass-through by the initiating laboratory. An additional small fee will be applied to every sample processed by the Genomics Core in order to recover costs associated with labor, service contracts, and other expenses required to provide this service. Total costs for a standard expression or genotype profiling experiment can range from $250 to $700 dollars per sample depending on the format chosen and quantity of samples.
Shared Equipment - ABI RT-PCR Machine
Time on the TaqMan Real-Time PCR system that is maintained by the Genomics Core may be purchased at a starting rate of $25 per machine run with bulk use discounts available. For a $2000 one-time charge, unlimited use of the TaqMan RT-PCR system can be purchased. Users may sign up using the online calendar hosted on Outlook.
