Researchers in the Cell-Based Screening (CBS) Core leverage high-throughput technologies towards a systematic description of the function of genes encoded by the human genome, and a more comprehensive understanding of the genetic basis for human disease. The CBS group provides Scripps investigators, as well as outside collaborators, with access to genome-wide collections of cDNAs and siRNAs that can be used to interrogate cellular models of signal transduction pathways and phenotypes.
