The mission of the Scripps Florida Education and Outreach Program is to advance bioscience education and awareness throughout the state of Florida. This is accomplished by promoting career opportunities in the biosciences for middle and high school students and undergraduates, assisting middle and high school teachers with bioscience education, and fostering an understanding among the general public of the basic ties that exist between biomedical research and human health.
The program is made possible through the generous support from the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust, the Robert and Mary Pew Public Education Fund, the Quantum Foundation and other philanthropic individuals and organizations.
