Scripps Florida is committed to working for the betterment of its local and regional communities. Our scientists speak frequently to community organizations about cutting-edge research and health-related topics in an effort to promote a better understanding of the fundamental ties that exist between biomedical research and human health.
We invite you to join us at our annual public science festival, "CELLebrate" Science with Scripps Florida, held inside the beautiful Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens on the first Saturday in February.
This event, along with various other community outreach efforts held throughout the year, complement the more formal education outreach programs at Scripps Florida, which are geared toward local students and teachers at the elementary, secondary, and undergraduate levels.
Scripps Florida also promotes staff participation in local events, such as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Habitat for Humanity, Community Blood Drives, Girl Scouts, and Literacy Coalition, just to name a few.
